Community Advance is a program that connects jr. high students with mentors and individualized career goals to encourage students to finish highschool. They also talk about character formation, life skills, setting goals, and share the gospel. I had the opportunity this spring semester to teach the students how to make an animated music video, just as a fun activity for Wednesday nights.
During this semester, I was able to share my testimony with students and talk about Bible stories that we were animating. Please pray for these students to grow in the Lord, and for this video to encourage discussion and discovery about God’s story. It was shared with staff and families at the end of the semester and was well received.
We used a song that other students at Community Advance composed and recorded in 2025. Video copyrights held by all collaborators and Marissa Pruett 2026.
Hours to create this project: 73 “man-hours”, meaning the hours each collaborator worked, put together. This does not include hours to create the song.
