All right, so here’s the end of the Madeline challenge. Bemelmans’s is super, super, super hard to figure out (for me, anyway). He had an eye for textures, that’s for sure. All images copyright Marissa Pruett 2018.

#4  Another one with water. They kinda look like they are sinking in mud, though. Maybe bad color choice?…some more wiggly color on the water, like shadows from the two men, may have been what this one needed.
