Did you know that people walking on this side of the street will have heads that loom just below garage door windows on the other side of the street? I figured this out thanks to a tip from another artist and some recent observations. Perspective is a strange animal.

Indeed, perspective is weird.
Often in crowds all the head heights are similar but the feet heights are up and down. It is of course dependent on your own eye line height at the time. But it’s something to take note of for sure.

Yes! That’s kind of what I heard from the other artist. I had always assumed the opposite–I guess a lot of people do. You have a good point, it would also depend on the horizon line placement. So much to learn! 🙂
